At age 17, Queralt Castellet appeared on the international snowboard scene debuting at the Olympics 2006, held in Turin, where she achieved the 26th position. Queralt continued her career with a series of podiums in the circuit of the FIS World Cup and finished the 2008/09 season in third place in the category ‘halfpipe’. In season 2009/10, the Spanish had the opportunity to make her mark in the United States, where she got some surprising results in both the Winter X Games and the Dew Tour.
Queralt is a superstar in Spain. Her small size hides a strength and endurance like no other. She was one of the few to challenge Kelly Clark, which she has defeated more than once, which is why Clark always takes Castellet into account in any competition.
At first glance she may seem quiet, but actually she has savvy communication skills, vibrant and expressive thanks to her spanish origins.
Queralt is ambitious, works hard and has clearly defined objectives: she leaves no details to chance. Her method of reaching the top is working every day to achieve victory.
As a professional snowboarder, she has left her mark in the United States, New Zealand and Europe.
